Elisa, come nasce la tua passione per i weddings?
Terminati gli studi, ho lavorato per alcuni anni nel settore degli eventi, della grafica e della moda, in particolare legato al mondo dei matrimoni. Pertanto, per me è stata una scelta naturale, in un determinato momento della mia vita in cui avevo necessità di riscoprirmi e rimettermi in gioco, focalizzare la mia attenzione su questo mondo e, in particolare, sul destination wedding, in quanto mi ha permesso di esprimere la mia personalità e le mie passioni: da un lato la curiosità verso la scoperta di nuove culture e tradizioni e, dall’altro, la possibilità di trasmettere il mio amore per l’Italia e la nostra convivialità a tutte le coppie di sposi che scelgono il nostro bel paese per il loro matrimonio.
After the end of my studies, I worked in the events, graphic and fashion industry, particularly in the wedding one. For this reason, it was an innate development the choice to focus my attention and my interest at the world of the weddings and events, especially at the destination wedding industry, because it allowed me to express completely myself and my passions: my curiosity of the world toward the discovery of new cultures and traditions, as well as the possibility to transmit my passion for Italy and our conviviality at all the couples, who want to choose Italy as their wedding destination.
Quali sono le aree dove operi?
Come destination wedding planner lavoro in tutte le destinazioni di nozze più ricercate dalle coppie straniere: lago di Como, Toscana, Venezia, costiera Amalfitana, Capri, Puglia, ecc…, occupandomi di ogni fase della pianificazione, dalla ricerca della perfetta location di matrimonio, in linea con i desideri e lo stile degli sposi, allo sviluppo di un progetto di nozze personalizzato, fino alla gestione dei fornitori e al coordinamento e regia dell’evento.
Inoltre, presto grande attenzione al servizio food & wine, al fine di offrire ai miei sposi un autentico matrimonio italiano. Infatti, per me, un matrimonio di lusso non è solo un lussureggiante allestimento floreale o una location di nozze unica, ma anche le autentiche esperienze che è possibile vivere per scoprire il nostro famoso Italian lifestyle.
As destination wedding planner, I work across Italy, especially in the most valued Italian wedding locations, such as the lake Como, Tuscany, Venice, Amalfi coast, Capri, Puglia, ecc… managing every step of the organization, from the research of the perfect venue that can represent the feelings of the spouses, to the design of a personalized wedding project, studied in every detail to satisfy the style and the desires of the couple, up to my complete management and coordination of all the suppliers and the on-site direction of the event.
Also, I pay great attention at the wine and food service, to offer at my spouses an authentic luxury wedding in Italy; because for me a luxury wedding isn’t only a lush flower arrangement or an exclusive venue, but also the deep experiences that you can live at the discovery of our authentic Italian lifestyle.
Cosa ami maggiormente del tuo lavoro?
Sicuramente, amo l’inizio dell’organizzazione di un matrimonio insieme agli sposi; l’eccitazione, la frenesia e l’emozione che si provano in quel momento mi carica di energia e di gioia.
Ma, amo anche il momento in cui, finalmente, il matrimonio può celebrarsi e il lavoro di un anno prender vita… l’adrenalina, la paura mista all’impazienza e all’attesa… La cacofonia di sentimenti di gioia, commozione, eccitazione, è stimolante e commovente allo stesso tempo.
Surely, I love the beginning of the organization of a wedding with the spouses; the excitement, the frenzy and the emotions that you can live in that moment energies myself and it fell me happy.
But, also, I love the moment in which the wedding can be finally celebrated and all the work of one year starts: the adrenalin, the fear, the impatience of the beginning mixing with the cacophony of the feelings of joy, pathos, enthusiasm and passion… They are always amazing!
Hai più clienti italiani o stranieri?
La maggioranza della mia clientela é straniera, soprattutto provenienti da America, Irlanda, Regno Unito e Dubai – Emirati Arabi.
Sono coppie formate sia da sposi stranieri, sia da coppie in cui almeno uno degli sposi é di origine italiana e decidono di tornare in Italia per celebrare il loro matrimonio nelle nostre bellissime location.
The majority of my clients arrive from America, Ireland, UK and Dubai-United Arab Emirates.
In general, these couple of spouses are both foreigners, but sometimes I have couples in which one of the spouses is Italian, so they decide to return at own origins, to celebrate their wedding in our charming Italian wedding locations.
Quale è la parte più complicata della tua professione?
Credo che la parte più emozionale del nostro lavoro, sia anche la più “complicata”
Il matrimonio è un evento molto personale e intimo, e deve rappresentare appieno la coppia, la loro personalità, i loro desideri e le loro speranze. É importante provare empatia verso la coppia, essere dei buoni ascoltatori e consiglieri, a volte un po’ psicologi, e soprattutto essere sempre attenti verso le loro necessità.
I think that the most emotional part of our job, it also the most “complicated” one.
The wedding is an event very personal and intimate and it must represent completely the spouses, their personalities, their desires and their hopes. So, it’s important to feel empathy for the couple. It’s also important to be great listeners and counselors, sometimes also psychologists, and, first of all, always pay attention at their need..
Cosa ti auguri per la stagione 2021?
Personalmente, spero che questo periodo d’incertezza possa terminare presto e che gli sposi tornino numerosi a voler celebrare il loro matrimonio nella nostra bellissima Italia.
I sincerely hope that this surreal period finishes soon, and that the couples return in our beautiful Italy to celebrate all their weddings and events.
